Keter Folding Workbench: My Honest Review After One Month of Real Use

On February 12th, I bought the Keter Folding Workbench, one of the most popular models among DIY woodworkers or anyone with limited space for a fixed workshop. I received it on February 14th and have been using it intensively for over a month.

This isn’t a quick review or a “copy-paste” from the spec sheet. It’s my real experience, with the good, the bad, and the in-between — after seriously using it: I sawed, sanded, cut with a circular saw, and even planed wood directly on top of it.

🔧 What I Liked Most

Includes clamps:
This is no small detail. The clamps fit perfectly into the workbench and hold firmly. They’re incredibly useful for working without your piece moving all over the place.

Super easy to set up and fold:
You literally open and close it in seconds. Ideal if you need to pack it away after each use or work in tight spaces.

Surprisingly sturdy:
I bought it a bit skeptical, but it really impressed me. I worked on it with force, and it held up beautifully. It’s solid, stable, and feels safe.

Takes up very little space when folded:
Perfect for people who don’t have a permanent workspace. You can tuck it in a corner and forget it's there until you need it.

🤏 What I Didn't Totally Love

The internal support block takes up storage space:
There’s a structure under the tabletop that gives it rigidity, but it limits how freely you can use the lower shelf. You can still store things — just not as freely.

Access to the lower shelf is only from one side:
If you leave something on the opposite side of where you’re working, you have to walk around to grab it. Not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable.

đź’¬ Would I Buy It Again?
